9 sites on 251 acres. We have opened our property for prospecting for gold. Camping is available upon request – you must be self-sufficient. No toilets, no showers, no potable water and no cooking facilities provided. This property runs cattle and two horses, we also seem to accommodate neighbours goats when they escape their own property. We have an abundance of birdlife, a few hares and the occasional mob of kangaroos like to thunder through the property at dawn and dusk. Free firewood can be collected around the property and firepits are available. Campfires are subject to authority fire bans. Day visitors for fossicking/prospecting must book through Hipcamp for insurance reasons. No motorbikes allowed however bicycles are allowed on the tracks. Dogs are permitted but must be on a leash at all times for their safety and the safety of the other residents on the property both human and animal. Gold prospecting/fossicking is subject to rules that will be sent once you book your fossicking experience.

Diverse wildlife include grey kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, turtles, native frogs, brush tail possums and squirrel gliders. CALLEMONDAH FARM CAMPING Callemondah is a 1500 acre Farm owned by Norm and Rhonda Betts located south of Warwick in Queensland. Callemondah is Aboriginal for “Many Hills” and the Farm is an Aussie Whites Sheep Stud Farm featuring also cattle, horses, pigs and chickens. Callemondah Bush Stay Camping area overlooks a picturesque waterhole and a creek with great stands of gum trees spaced throughout a park like setting. There are fire pits to cook your food with and to have a campfire, just ask for a load of firewood from Farmer Norm. We have toilets but no showers yet and we have new undercover shelters for everyone. The farm is a scenic mixture of wide open grazing fields and areas of native bushland which features native bird life and wildlife such as cockatoos, black cockatoos, galahs, crows, mapgies, kangaroos, wallabies, goannas and more. The Rosenthal creek meanders through Callemondah Farm which is very beautiful and makes for a lovely walk or to sit beside and create a painting.

Granite & Eucalypt Camp sits on “Mackenzie Glen” and offers a private camping experience for families and their dogs. The camp allows for self contained tent campers and caravans, camp trailers or RVs. We only allow 1 group at a time, so there will never be any other guests on the property whilst you are there. So once it is booked, the place is entirely yours. For example, if 3 families would like trip away with the kids, it will be exclusive to your group.There is a plentiful supply of firewood around the block that can be collected, if there isn’t a load already near the fire. A load of wood is normally replenished once a month and left next to the firepit.There is very limited mobile phone reception along Eukey Road and it is almost non-existent at the camp. Which is great if you want a digital detox! However, there is a way you can still be connected and these details can be provided upon request.There is no toilet… yet.
