Ballandean
Ballandean is renowned for its wineries and picturesque views.
Queensland’s first commercially grown grapes were harvested in Ballandean in 1932. Today it is home to a large number of the Granite Belt’s award-winning winemakers.
Ballandean is part of the Southern Granite Belt, which also takes in Eukey, Severnlea, Glen Aplin, Wyberba and Wallangarra. The Southern Granite Belt is home to a number of vineyards, gourmet food producers, accommodation establishments and points of historic interest to visit.
