Explore two art trails this Spring
Whether you’re a practicing artist or you enjoy other people’s creative abilities, we have two weekends of art trails to give you the perfect excuse for a country getaway this Spring.
The Granite Belt Art and Craft Trail will be held over the weekend of the 29-31 October 2021 and the Condamine Country Art & Craft Trail is on from 6-7 November in locations around Warwick. Both weekends will be full of art, craft, wine and food as you enjoy warm country hospitality and Springtime in our beautiful Southern Downs and Granite Belt region.
Granite Belt Art and Craft Trail
Event: Granite Belt Art & Craft Open Studio Event
Dates: 29-31 October 2021
Location: Stanthorpe and surrounds (approx 3 hours drive from Brisbane)
The Granite Belt Art & Craft Trail Open Studio Event (GBART) is a dedication to all things creative and showcases the ever growing talent of artists and artisans who call the Granite Belt home.
Want to hit the trail? Follow the map to discover a variety of local artists, as they exhibit at studios and galleries as well as taking up residence in community spaces.
As a visitor to GBART you can enrol in a class, you can watch a demonstration or you can get in and have a go. It is a great opportunity to get behind the scenes of creativity and be engaged in artistic processes yourself. Visit studios, wineries, a brewery, local small halls and get involved in a wide range of activities from pottery to drawing, water colours, cheese making, oils, fibre, sculpture and much more!
Condamine Country Art and Open Studio Trail
Event: Condamine Country Art & Open Studio Trail
Dates: 6-7 November 2021
Location: Warwick and surrounds (approx 2 hours drive from Brisbane)
Ready for another weekend of art trails? Head to Warwick for the annual Condamine Country Art & Open Studio Trail. You can meet and talk to artists as they work in their private studios. You’ll also be able to get hands on, with a range of demonstrations and workshops also planned for the weekend.
The Art Trail includes Warwick artists, as well as others in nearby towns Killarney, Swan Creek, Emu Vale and Loch Lomond – all providing a picturesque country setting.
