FB-Ek Holden Nationals

The Queensland FB-EK Holden Car Club (Inc.) is proud to host the 35th FB-EK Holden Nationals in Stanthorpe, Queensland next June.

This is an opportunity for enthusiasts and admirers alike to share the experience of viewing around 100 of the most identifiable Holden models produced between 1960 and 1962. The itinerary has a range of activities for entrants across the region, with the highlight being a static vehicle display to be held in Stanthorpe – free entry and open to the public between 9am and 2pm on Sunday 7th June.

The FB and EK models of Holden cars and commercial vehicles are a key connection to Australia’s regional economic diversity and prosperity which has become part of our social history. The pastel colours, rear tail fins and chrome finishes being quintessentially part of the Australian identity.

Entrants will participate in social activities across the weekend aimed at showcasing the variety of attractions available to visitors to the Southern Downs region. This will include visits to wineries, restaurants, produce, arts, crafts and tourist centres and natural heritage locations.

The first FB EK Holden Nationals was held in 1990 at Wagga Wagga. Since then, the Nationals has been held and hosted in turn by the FB EK Holden Car Clubs of New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.
