Pyramids Road Wines

What are you waiting for? The historic wine tasting shed at Pyramids Road Wines invites you to soak up country hospitality and discover something new about Granite Belt wines.

Warren and Sue create luscious expressions of cool climate wines from their grapes grown in the southern foothills of Girraween National Park. Watch out for the friendly wildlife as you drive down the long driveway to the warm and welcoming cellar door. Experience a relaxed, informal and educational wine tasting with Warren, the winemaker who personally crafts each wine. Give yourself plenty of time as he likes to talk.

Don’t miss their famed Musc Rose which mimics Turkish delight; made from their old Black Muscat grapes. The winter months will want you yearning for a glass of Bernie’s Blend, their signature wine crafted from a blend of estate grown red varieties. Plan your visit during vintage and you’ll witness the fun experienced by the volunteer pickers foot stomping grapes for rose wines. No staff, just volunteer help assisting the two owners, Warren and Sue who live and breathe everything wine.

Only 2.5 hours from Brisbane and Lismore, the Stanthorpe wineries are ready for you to explore. The cellar door is 20 minutes south of Stanthorpe. Don’t worry the kids and your fur babies are covered whilst you sample the wines and browse the boutique gifts.
