Until recently, Saperavi has been almost unknown to Australian wine drinkers, but now is growing in popularity, thanks to innovative winemakers down under with more than 40 Australian growers/producers from the Granite Belt to the Adelaide Hills, King Valley, Barossa and McLaren Vale, just to name a few.
