The Bony Mountain Festival is a celebration of everything Australian, the History, the Heritage-and the music as well as celebrating their Celtic roots with Irish and Scottish influences, fabulous Pipe Bands and more.
2021 is their 11th year, celebrating this milestone the 2021 Festival will be a cracker. Bony Mountain has featured some top Bands from Murphy’s Pigs to Hill Billy Goats. This year will feature Limerick, a very talented Celtic group. Several Gold Guitar winners including their Hostess, Super Songwriter, Norma O’Hara Murphy, Brian Stitt, Bush Balladeers Jeff Brown and Keith Jamieson Alisha & Catlyn, Ukulele Master Mick Engeles, Ukulele School all week, and the exciting Moreton Fiddle Club (a wonderful group of talented Fiddlers/Players/Singers/Dancers). The catering is all wonderful Country Cookin, kids activities on Saturday and market stalls on Sunday. Vintage Cars-Blacksmith Shop will be open.
There will be special songwriters including Brian Stitt, Brett Rostron, Errol Gray(country comedy), Garry Fogarty, Bush Poets, free Ukulele School, real bush bands with some old traditional songs and music. Walk Ups, a special tribute to (Slim Dusty) with artists performing their own tribute to Slim! gates open on Monday the 13th.
