The Stanthorpe Music and Arts Festival is an explosion of live music, visual and performance art with something for everyone.
Held on Saturday 4 December 2021 in Weeroona Park, the Stanthorpe Music and Arts Festival features a jam-packed program of music, roving performances, artist exhibitions and a chance to get hands on with art workshops.
Chill out in the Chai tent, sip on the Granite Belt’s award winning wines and craft beer and savour the local pop up food stalls.
Leading the live music line-up is Brisbane based gypsy-jazz band Cigány Weaver. You’ll also love jazz, soul, funk, latin-groove band Come What May; one-man band Mitch King’s dirty blues; bush ballad / folk duo Penny & Roger; and pop folk band Nine Year Sister. There will also be a number of “Short & Sweet” open mic style sets between bands.
An open art space will be hosting an onsite art competition for all ages which will be judged at the end of the event with prize money to be won. The kids will love the cheeky roving circus, puppet shows, BUSHkids’ activity stall and workshops, plus children 12 years and under are free!
