Join us as we travel the line from Warwick to Inglewood, retracing part of the path of the Dirranbandi Mail, stepping back into a bygone era. Prices are for the train trip only or for the trip and lunch included in the one price. See you on the train!
Warwick to Inglewood and return
Depart Warwick Station at 08:00am for a leisurely day on the steam train to Inglewood, arriving at 11:15am.
Enjoy the hard work as we climb out of Warwick before working the undulating hills west towards Ingewood. We will pass through the Duraki State Forest and beside Coolumundra Dam and through many rural communities including Wheatvale, Karara, Gore, before we reach Inglewood for our lunch stop.
Train departure from Inglewood is at 2:15pm for a leisurely steam train trip back to Warwick, arriving at 5.45pm.
This is a decent Dash across the Downs for our train with our top speed being 50km/h and covering a distance of 100km.
For those who wish to go searching, lunch can also be obtained from one of the local establishments. Otherwise, you can consider a pre-purchased lunch and tour at the Coolumundra Olive Farm.
Light refreshment will be available for purchase on the train.
