Trip Details

Depart Warwick Station at 08:00am for a leisurely day on the steam train to Toowoomba, arriving at 12:00pm. We will initially pass the Stations of Toolburra and Hendon. At Hendon, we are only a 5km branch line away from the township of Allora.

After our initial dash across the downs, our first stop will be at Clifton at 9:15am, where the crews will take more water for the trip, and a short 15 minute stop to pick up any passengers.

We continue from here at 9:30am into the Darling Downs passing though the townships of Nobby, Greenmount, Cambooya, and Wyreema. At Wyreema, a branch line goes west to the Pittsworth and Millmerran townships. From here we climb into the outskirts of Toowoomba, first passing Drayton, and Harriston, before the long descent into Toowoomba Station arriving at 11:00am

Our train will stop here for 3 hours, before leaving for the journey home at 2pm.

For those who wish to go searching, lunch can also be obtained from one of the local establishments. Light refreshment will be available for purchase on the train.
