Robert Channon Wines was established in 1998 by Robert and Peggy Channon when they planted 19 acres of vines at Amiens just outside Stanthorpe.

The winery was the first in Queensland to receive 5 stars from James Halliday. It was also the first to win trophies at national wine shows with its chardonnay and sparkling chardonnay. Its wines were served to Queen Elizabeth II when she visited Brisbane and its Verdelho was selected as the Queensland Parliament’s 150th anniversary wine.
The cellar door and Singing Lake Café enjoy spectacular views and the winery also runs a series of classical and jazz concerts every year in its Swigmore Hall. Since 2001 winners of 37 trophies and 27 gold medals for their wines.
